StudentSpeak – Importance of sports

A healthy nation is always a wealthy nation. Therefore, it is necessary to put emphasis on sports. Sports play a great role in our life as it keeps us healthy, wealthy and active.

As we all know that, living a relaxed and comfort life we need a sound mind and a sound body.We can have a healthy mind only when we have a healthy body. Education is very necessary to get name, fame and money. In the same way, getting a sound mind and body, everyone must involve in some type of physical activities for which sports is the best way.

Outdoor sports such as football, cricket, volleyball, hockey, running, etc. helps in improving physical health and mental fitness. However, some indoor games and sports like brain games, Chess, Sudoku, etc. improves mental power and concentration level.DSC_4414

Sports teach us punctuality, patience, discipline, teamwork and dedication. Playing sports help us in building and improving confidence level. It teaches us to go ahead in life by removing all the weaknesses.

Sports develop and encourage the spirit of healthy competition. Matches and

Tournaments and contests are held to put the test the skill, toughness, stamina and endurance of values of participants. Medals and awards are an incentive to players to achieve excellence and a high standard of performance in their

respective fields. The healthy spirit of rivalry and competition constantly leads to improvement in the performance and previous records are constantly excelled or surpassed.

Sport has ability to give sportspersons their required name, fame and money. People who are good in sports also exhibit a lifestyle of great quality. So, we can say that, sports can be played for personal benefits as well as professional benefits.
