StudentSpeak – Importance of good habits

bhairavi haranhalli - by Bhairavi Vasuki Harnahalli

Respected teachers and my dear friends, a very good morning to one and all present here.Today I, Ms. Bhairavi Vasuki Harnahalli from std. 3A would like to express my views on the topic, "Importance of good habits. "

Chintu is a very famous cartoon. Once he told his mother that on Saturday which was the very next day, he had a holiday from school. He also asked his mother not to wake him up early the next day. At night before sleeping he didn’t even brush his teeth. He woke up late the next morning because of which he was very happy. After a while, when he was watching T.V. his mom got a call from his school teacher. After the call, his mom was furious and told Chintu that he was a liar. unnamed

On Monday, there was a drawing competition in the school, however he woke up late with the phone call of his teacher who was very angry because Chintu had participated in the competition. Although Chintu was very good at drawing he couldn’t complete his drawing, he was very upset when his own friends got the first, second and third prizes .

From this short story we come to know about the importance of good habits as if Chintu would have woken up on time he would have won the competition, if we wouldn’t have lied to his mother she wouldn’t have called him a liar.

That’s why I say that importance of good habits is like the sun to the earth, without these habits our life becomes difficult and dark.

Thank you !
